Ir Robert Dingemanse MBA:
Co-founder and CEO

After graduating from Delft University in electrical engineering and earning an MBA from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Robert started his career at Royal Philips Electronics. He successfully launched many new products in the market. Later he set up and changed the strategic direction of a number of businesses within Philips. Since 2003 he has started up a number of ventures outside of Philips. For PAL-V he is responsible for general management and strategy.

Mike Stekelenburg Bsc:
Chief Engineer

Since his graduation in electronics, Mike has been working in high-tech innovation, acting as innovation manager or general manager. Mike created new breakthrough product lines in very different business environments for Royal Philips Electronics, Thomson and FEI Company (listed on Nasdaq). For PAL-V, he is responsible for overall system design and integration.

Dr. Markus G. Hess:
Chief Marketing & Sales Officer

Markus Hess graduated with an MBA from Clemson University, SC and received a Ph. D. from the University of St. Gallen in the field of strategic management in the airline industry. After various executive positions with Festool, Multiplex, Malik Consulting and RUAG he started two ventures in the consulting and consumer goods industries. For PAL-V he is responsible for business development and sales.

Bartjan Rietdijk MSc:
R&D Manager

Bartjan is an experienced engineering manager working in the aircraft industry since 1988. Involved in several international aircraft development programs from conceptual design to detail design of interior, electrical systems and airframe end items for business jets, large aircraft, military helicopters and fighters. After graduation at the TU Delft in aircraft structural design and optimization, he has held various positions in both functional (Head of Design, Configuration Management Architect) and project areas (Chief Engineer, Certification Manager). For PAL-V he is leading the daily technical development operations and responsible for Research & Development.

Lou P. Schreurs:
Business Development Manager

Lou is an experienced executive who has succesfully managed large teams (up to 1000 FTE) in Consumer Electronics and Semiconductors for over 30 years.
He has been involved in the definition, development and launch of many succesful and innovative products during his career at Philips, NXP and Bang & Olufsen.
Experience has been gained throughout the value chain: Product-Marketing, R&D, Industralisation, Production and Outsourcing. He lived 8 years in Asia.
He holds a Private Pilot Lisence PPL(A) (EASA and FAA) and is currently expanding with Gyrocopter PPL(G)

Non-Executive team:

Prof Peter Jorna:
Chairman Supervisory Board

Peter is PAL-V’s expert in Human Machine Systems design and evaluation. He teaches part-time at Cranfield University in the UK and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. He worked for 18 years at the National Aerospace Laboratory in Amsterdam and served as head of the Flight Division, managing Helicopters, Operational Research, Human Factors, Flight Mechanics, and Flight Simulation departments. Since 2008 he has been active as an independent expert for the European Union and the aviation industry, including flight deck certification for COMAC in China. Peter is the President-elect of the European Association for Aviation Psychology (EAAP).

Ir. Andre E Kuiper:
Advisor to the Supervisory board

Andre is very experienced in international business and manufacturing. He built a carreer with Royal Packaging Industries Van Leer and held positions in Brasil, India among others.

Drs. Geert Jan Leest:
Member Supervisory Board

Geert Jan is managing partner of the investment company Informal Capital Network.
He has his background in strategy development, organisational performance improvement and investment banking.

Janpieter Koning Msc:
Member Supervisory Board

Janpieter is a financial and business expert active as an official registered accountant. He was a former partner of KPMG and co-founded the company Tacstone Ventures, which specialized in start- up companies with innovative technologies and business models.

Ir Rutger Deurvorst:
Manager Industrial Relations

After graduating in Mechanical Engineering at Technical University Delft, Rutger started as Business Development Manager at N.V. Indivers Far East (Singapore 1980-1987). After earning his MBA at Insead France in 1988 Rutger managed two aerospace businesses of his personal Holding Axxiflex B.V. Subsidiaries were sold in 2000 and 2004. From 2001 to 2003 Rutger was Investment Manager at ICT incubator Twinning heading a portfolio of 25 investments. Since 2005 Rutger is specializing in the development of industrial cooperation between high tech businesses in the Netherlands and global companies in the Geo Security Sector.
