Lead Manufacturing Engineer
The position
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you ensure that the production process runs efficiently and meets the applicable aviation quality and safety standards (aviation environment PART21 subpart G compliant standards).
Your future job
Tasks and responsibilities
- Translating product definitions from our innovative Design Organization into production instructions, inspections, routings, and required tools;
- Creating clear assembly and inspection instructions;
- Designing tools and equipment in 3D;
- Generating inspection reports for initial articles to be made;
- Continuous improvement of production engineering and manufacturing processes (APQP/Lean);
- Supporting our internal review team in the deviation process;
- Maintain oversight of the ME schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
Softwareskills
- Impressing the team with your skills in 3D CAD software;
- Working with CAD software is a breeze, so Creo Illustrate poses no challenge for you;
- Proficiency in PLM Software (we use Windchill);
- Office 365.
Your profile
- HBO working and thinking level, supplemented with production and lean manufacturing techniques;
- Relevant work experience;
- Strong communication skills in the Dutch and/or English languages;
- You are willing to work full-time (40 hours) and be present in the office.
