Project Lead Certification
The position
As Project Lead Certification, you are responsible for collaborating on the EASA certification projects. You determine the certification basis in consultation with EASA and are ultimately responsible for the delivery of the certification program. You monitor the content of the certification output and manage panel leads (up to about 10 FTE) in the Office of Airworthiness (OoA). You will report to the Chief of Airworthiness (CoA) and act as the point of contact for EASA with the project certification manager for the delivery of one of the three sub-programs (STC Engine, TC propeller, and TC vehicle). In addition, you keep in touch and coordinate content between panel leads, CVEs (internal and external staff), and EASA experts.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Determining the certification basis by EASA in consultation with CoA.
- Delivery of the certification program in consultation with CoA with the final goal of acceptance from EASA.
- Independently direct the preparation and execution of complex certification activities as included in the PAL-V certification plan, ranging from design reviews, safety reviews, analyses, and test preparations.
- Provide timely and regular reporting through written reports and progress meetings to the CoA and project manager for project certification output and other internal stakeholders.
- Continuously remain focused on identifying improvement opportunities, translate these issues of concern, and thus contribute to the growth of both product and the organisation.
Soft skills
- High independence, initiative, and taking responsibility for the delivery of certification programs.
- Ability to set up something working from scratch without existing templates or predefined structures.
- Willingness to take on challenges, learn quickly, and adapt yourself to new situations, although slight prior knowledge or aviation and certification programs is a plus.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s working and thinking level.
- You have experience within Aerospace and certification programs.
- Strong command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
