The position

As a System Engineer at the Design Organization at PAL-V, you will be responsible for managing the vehicle wide requirements, combining road & aeronautical certification specifications down to specific requirements for bottom-level sub-systems.  You will report directly to the HODO and CTO and play an active role in efficiently providing and translating requirements to streamline and control the design process

Your future job

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing requirements from top level, through system level, down to review units. 
  • Reviewing safety, requirements & certification documentation.
  • Interfacing with technical management for requirements downflow strategies. 
  • Adapting & scrutinizing individual requirement sets with engineers & system owners.

Soft(ware)skills

  • High independence, initiative, and taking responsibility.     
  • Has attention to detail, is a problem solver and a analytical thinker. 
  • Solid knowledge of CAD engineering (Solidworks).
  • Experience in aeronautical and automotive design processes.
  • Experience in aeronautical and automotive certification processes and requirements management.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • You have experience in aerospace certification programs or equivalent. 
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • You have strong written communication skills in English. 
  • You are a team player, pro-active with an optimistic mentality. Target-oriented with analytical problem-solving skills
